Description

This model is made from a copy of a Yellow Pages Telephone Directory. The volume was rolled, glued and then carved by Black into a bulging keyhole form - it is as though a normal keyhole had been extruded and inflated. The pages fan out to give fullness to the form. The large-scale version of the sculpture was made in brass - the 'pages' reflecting on one another to give an apparent inner yellow light.
