Description

In 'Cathedral', Ward's reference to architecture is refined to the basic geometric forms of two triangles. The smaller, thicker element supports the larger but thinner metal sheet. Mirror-polished stainless steel reflects its surroundings that become metaphors for stained glass windows and the memory of the church at the heart of the community. On a monumental scale, the 'spire' would soar to reflect the sky.
