Description

In strong light the russet tones glow as if lit from an inner source. The sharp pinnacle of the sculpture is given greater emphasis by a slight curvature in the form.

This form in cast glass could be a monolith of great height like an ancient standing stone. Palova uses glass in many different ways, and this version shows how a soft, sandblasted finish can absorb light more than reflecting it. In strong light the russet tones glow as if lit from an inner source. The sharp pinnacle of the sculpture is given greater emphasis by a slight curvature in the form.
