Description

The form is of two cones, cut and brought together, as if each were lying sideways. The shell of the sculpture is fabricated in stainless steel sheet and bars, and then stainless-steel cable is woven through the slats to render the form stable. This particular conjunction of cones reveals an inner cube, which O'Connell allows the viewer to observe through the woven portions of the structure.
