Description

Triton, the son of Poseidon and Amphitrite, has as his home the entire sea. His form was that of half man and half fish, and he and his retinue, were often depicted blowing into shells that they used as horns. Kneal's 'Triton' is also an amalgam of forms, and the stainless steel is as reflective as clear water. The curving, concave and convex form of the sculpture has parallels with the waves of Triton's seas.
