Description

The open circular form of stainless steel, turned on a lathe, then trimmed with the edges shaped afterwards is deceptively simple. The form seems to emerge from the surface on which it sits, as the vacant underside of the metal gives the ring the appearance of having virtually no thickness. On a large scale, the crescent would allow people to enter, providing a magical space that is quietly, perfectly present.
