Description

'Sun Trap' is a collar-from that should be orientated towards the sun. It is based on the earliest of man-made objects: a simple, sharpened stone. Like flint arrowheads or other basic tools, Dilworth has contrasted sharpness of edge and fullness of the body, which is finely finished to a smooth surface celebrating the fine quality of this rare stone. The form is also an enclosure, a place that is safe and warm.
