Hamish Black | Bottle

Description

The shape of half a bottle is cut from aluminium honeycomb that is then quite simply curved round and glued to form the shape of a whole bottle. Black finds many possibilities for creativity within this material, which is relatively new to him. Its flexible properties, reflective surface and the fact that forms can be revealed through manipulation and cutting, relates to Blacks previous work.
