Description
Much of Cragg's recent work comprises anthropomorphised monumental works which hint towards representations of the human face through the manipulation of bronze and stainless steel into undulating and topographical forms. Point of View possess a totemic qualilty yet any sense of permance is underminded by the ephamerality of the work. This is achieved by way of the highly polished stainless steel of the piece's surface. It is as if the work is a frozen rivulet of water, both delicate and fleeting.
