Sculpture Estate Visitor Rules

This charitable Foundation has over £6m worth of sculpture in the grounds here at Goodwood and last year over £40,000 of damage was done to the sculptures by visitors touching and climbing on the works of art in our grounds. Please note that any damages will have to be paid for.

It is also a requirement for our Health & Safety regulations that you abide by the following rules whilst in the Sculpture Estate:
  • Not allowing children to climb any sculptures - any damage must be paid for.
  • Not dropping any litter.
  • Not entering roped-off out of bounds areas - this is for your own safety.
  • Not entering the private house areas.
  • Not spoiling this unique experience for other visitors.
Adults are reminded that they are entirely responsible for the behaviour of their children while in the grounds.

Photography is allowed but not for commercial use without the written consent of the Cass Sculpture Foundation. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like your images to be used to help promote the charity.

While assistance dogs are welcome, we do ask that you leave your pets at home.

Thank you for your co-operation. If you see anyone damaging or climbing on the sculptures please ask them to stop and advise the member of staff on duty in the Visitor Gallery. Any breach of these rules that leads to injury is not the responsibility of The Cass Sculpture Foundation. Any damages to any of the works of art will have to be paid for.
