In the first of our artist talks for 2010, Diane Maclean will be discussing the challenges encountered during the processes of design, fabrication and installation of her sculpture. Maquettes of her work, present and past, will be on display during the talk, as well as previously unseen material.
As one of the Cass Sculpture Foundation's most celebrated artists, Maclean has had several monumental works displayed on the grounds of the Foundation, all exploring Maclean's response to natural phenomena through the challenge of new materials.
