British Sculpture in the 21st Century

16 July 2010: Exclusive talk by artist Diane Macle...

Island (detail) by Diane Maclean

In the first of our artist talks for 2010, Diane Maclean will be discussing the challenges encountered during the processes of design, fabrication and installation of her sculpture. Maquettes of her work, present and past, will be on display during the talk, as well as previously unseen material.

As one of the Cass Sculpture Foundation's most celebrated artists, Maclean has had several monumental works displayed on the grounds of the Foundation, all exploring Maclean's response to natural phenomena through the challenge of new materials. Tickets for this event are limited and available for purchase immediately through the boutique or directly from the visitor gallery at Goodwood. Priced at £13, all artist talk tickets include entry into the grounds for that day.

The talk will commence on 2pm in the Foundation Centre.
