The deadline for CASS PRIZE submissions is fast approaching but it's still not too late to enter...
Are you a graduating MA student from the University of the Arts London? Do you want to see one of your works displayed in two prestigious locations across the South East alongside works by Tony Cragg and Phillip King? Would you also like £8,000 to be donated towards the commissioning of one of your sculptures, as well as a cash prize of £2,000?
If so, we are still welcoming submissions for the CASS PRIZE 2010, a new Sculpture prize developed by Cass Sculpture Foundation and Cass Art along with the University of the Arts London. Open for applications since January of this year, we have already received many proposals of an extremely high calibre and anticipate that this first CASS PRIZE will a great success!
The selected work will be installed on the Rootstein Hopkins Parade Ground at Chelsea College of Art and Design in Autumn 2010, as part of the Shaping Sculpture programme. Following this, the work will be displayed on the Cass Sculpture Foundation's grounds as one of its commissioned works for sale.
Applicants should submit proposals for unrealised work including a short description of the proposed sculpture along with a maquette or a drawing. The deadline for applications is the 31st May 2010, so get those entries in as soon as possible to be in with a chance of winning this unique prize!
