For the first time ever, Cass Sculpture will be open to the public during the winter months due to the opening of the very first exhibition to be held within the Foundation Centre, entitled SUBJECT | MATTER, curated by Claire Shea. In honour of these extended opening times, Cass Sculpture will be offering a 50% reduction in entrance fees. So come and visit the Foundation and our exclusive inaugural exhibition for just £5 this winter, bring your wellies if you are heading out to see the monumental works in the grounds!
SUBJECT | MATTER, the first-ever indoor exhibition of mid-scale works, will showcase a wealth of emerging and innovative sculptural talent from an international selection of up-and-coming artists including Thomas Adank, James Balmforth, Claire Barclay, Asif Khan, Juliana Cerqueira Leite, Mike Ricketts, Sarah Staton and Marianne Vitale.
SUBJECT | MATTER is the first in a series of exhibitions to be held in the Foundation Centre in the year ahead. Future exhibitions will include group shows surveying trends in contemporary sculpture and solo exhibitions presenting a sampling of recent works by individual artists.
