7 November 2008: The Gates Close for Winter

Helaine Blumenfeld's Spirit of Life at Goodwood

Winter's foil is upon us once again and, as such, the Foundation will be closing its gates to the public from November 7th, 2008, to April the 4th, 2009. (All visits over the winter months are by invitation from the founders only.)

However, winter does not thwart the 'behind the scenes' work that goes on in the Foundation Centre. Over the next 5 months we will continue to improve and landscape our 26 acre grounds in order to ensure that all current and forthcoming works are displayed to their best advantage for the new season. Additionally, we will be working on our current and forthcoming commissions, all of which will go to comprise our new monumental sculpture intake for 2009. Many of these works will also be included in the Foundation's ongoing Olympic sculpture commissioning programme which has already produced 15 works in anticipation of London 2012.

If you are interested in purchasing a visitor's pass for 2009, or a membership card allowing you and a guest unlimited access to the sculpture park during the new season, then please visit our online boutique or click the links below for more information.

Many thanks for your continued support and see you in 2009.
