Accessibility and Mobility at the Cass Sculpture Foundation

The Cass Sculpture Foundation is a 26 acre ancient woodland, landscaped for exhibiting monumental commissions in an outdoor environment. We suggest sensible footwear is worn in all conditions as some visitors may find some areas difficult to access. We aim to maintain paths and walkways, however due to the nature of our charity the weather and general movement of our sculptures can effect the quality underfoot due to the landscape, including undulating and steep gradients.

Although we work towards the site being as accessible as possible some areas can become difficult to access with certain kinds of wheelchair or pushchair. We have introduced a special pathway to allow for easier wheelchair mobility between the Disabled Car Park and Visitors Gallery. A Free electric scooter is available for use by visitors with mobility difficulties - please ask at the Visitors Gallery or contact us for further information or to book in advance of your visit.

There is parking for blue badge holders in the Foundation car park. Toilets are wheelchair accessible and baby-changing facilities are provided in the Foundation Centre.
