Rob Ward

Rob Ward’s work focuses on the connection between space and mind. His sculptures are places where the object directly communicates with the landscape and people. He is particularly interested in the role of the artist as constructor of objects. He believes the role of sculpture rests in a liminal and elastic category between architecture and expression. Rob Ward has an exceptionally fluid relationship towards art-making and begun thinking in a transdisciplinary manner when fine art was still categorised in terms of sculpture, painting and mixed media.
