Peter Peri was born in 1971 in London and studied at Chelsea College of Art, London and graduated from the MA programme in 2003. He currently lives and works in London, UK.

Peter Peri's work encompasses sculpture, painting and drawing. He develops these three disciplines independently which he then coagulates together to create complex compositional and relational conversations. All his works are devoted to the tension between figuration and abstraction, line and volume and the relationship between tradition and modernism. His sculptural works often have domestic undertones, reminiscent of assembled or disregarded household boxes compiled so as to become monumental and omnipresent. They posses a figurative human element rendered architectural and ambiguous through cuboid abstraction.
