Matt Bodimeade

Matt Bodimeade was born in Arundel, Sussex, in 1965. He studied at the West Sussex College of Art, Worthing (1983-34) and at Brighton Polytechnic (1985-88). Since leaving college he has been concentrating on developing his work, and has had several commissions. He has also worked in agriculture, forestry and as a carpenter whilst continuing his work as a sculptor. Journeyman 1993, a large steel structure in the grounds of the Southill Halls of Residence at Southampton University, was commissioned by the architectural practice, Gutteridges, who were responsible for the buildings.
